Czechoslovakia, the Velvet Revolution

In 1989, the fall of the Berlin wall triggered a domino reaction which would profoundly rearrange the political scene in Eastern Europe. In Czechoslovakia, the Communist regime, under a huge popular pressure, gave way for a democratic revolution.
November 2019 will mark the 30th anniversary of what was called the Velvet Revolution.
